A concert became a home full of care
The 2010 Corazones por la Vida benefit concert did not end when the music stopped. Its proceeds became a major delivery of essential items—and an afternoon of joy—for children at Hogares Bambi Venezuela.

CARACAS, VENEZUELA — December 14, 2010. Fundación Corazones por la Vida delivered a major donation to Hogares Bambi Venezuela, converting the public support generated by the Corazones por la Vida 2010 benefit concert into practical assistance for children living without the protection of their family environment.
The visit took place at Casa 1 in Antímano, described in the historical testimony as the organization’s largest home and the residence of 55 boys and girls. Román EL RO, president of Fundación Corazones por la Vida, arrived with volunteers and collaborators carrying clothing, school and preschool supplies, snacks, cups, toys and other essential products.
“We are very grateful—not only for the donation, but for the human warmth with which they came today and for the wonderful day they gave our home.”
Director of Hogares Bambi Venezuela, historical testimony recorded December 14, 2010
The result of a benefit concert
The delivery was the concrete outcome of the Corazones por la Vida 2010 concert. According to the recorded testimony from the home, the donated goods were valued at more than 100 million bolívares at the time. The figure is presented as a historical statement from the beneficiary organization; the deeper value of the action, however, was visible in how the resources were transformed into items the children could use immediately.

More than a delivery
The foundation’s team did not simply unload boxes. The day included music, games, conversation and close interaction with the children. The photographs show a courtyard transformed into a meeting place: volunteers serving food, children holding their gifts, and artists using their voices to create a genuine celebration.
That human dimension was emphasized by the home’s director. Her message of thanks recognized both the material contribution and the warmth of the people who accompanied it—an important reminder that humanitarian service is strongest when assistance is delivered with dignity, presence and affection.
Original testimony
In the words of Hogares Bambi
This restored historical recording documents the origin of the donation, the items delivered and the impact expected across the Antímano and San Bernardino homes.
Support designed to reach beyond one home
The director explained that the donation would first serve each child living in Casa 1 and would also benefit children in Hogares Bambi’s San Bernardino home. Items that could be shared were intended to reach other foundations and residential homes supporting children in similar circumstances.
This multiplier effect reflected the purpose behind the concert: gathering people around music, then channeling that energy toward organizations already providing continuous care. It also established a model that Fundación Corazones por la Vida would continue to apply—building alliances, mobilizing volunteers and turning public participation into direct community service.

A lasting record of collective action
More than fifteen years later, the archive preserves a simple but powerful sequence: a concert convened a community, the community generated resources, and those resources reached children through a trusted care institution. The 2010 Hogares Bambi delivery remains part of the institutional memory of Fundación Corazones por la Vida and of its commitment to place solidarity in action.
