Two concerts in support of children with autism

The 2009 Corazones por la Vida concert program was organized in support of Fundación Autismo en Acción and children with autism in Caracas. The foundation’s archive describes activities at Centro Comercial El Recreo and a larger concert scheduled for Plaza Alfredo Sadel on August 1.

A citywide invitation through music

An event at El Recreo and a concert program at Plaza Alfredo Sadel gave artists and presenters a chance to contribute their work to a shared purpose. The foundation’s original report lists performers including Román EL RO, Tambor Urbano, Gabylonia, Víctor Muñoz and Zona 7.

The music was intended to draw people into a conversation about the needs of children with autism and the work of an organization being developed to serve them.

Keeping the cause in view

The 2009 initiative also relied on collaborators who helped organize and present the events. Their contribution extended beyond the performances: it made space for community support and awareness.
